Law enforcement have indicted a twenty-nine-year-old suspect with one count of homicide and two counts of assault with intent to kill while carrying a weapon.
The incident led the government to suspend asylum processing and cease issuing entry permits to holders of passports from Afghanistan.

The airman, a native of Martinsburg, started his military career in 2019 and is a graduate of his local high school, as reported by the Associated Press.

Sarah, from Summersville, graduated from Webster County high school in 2023 and joined the military shortly after, serving as a military police officer with honor, according to the military.
âShe had a lot of kindness and she absolutely had fortitude,â the governor told the gathering at the memorial. âThough her life ended too soon, she has left a mark thatâs going to last forever.â
