The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The influential industry figure lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
