Soccer Expert Sutton Takes On Artist Murs in Top Flight Forecasts

The Gunners' ten-match victorious streak came to an end by the Black Cats prior to the global break, but will the English top division leaders bounce back against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?

"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still find a way to win."

The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of guests.

For the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.

Murs' new record, the new release, is available on Friday.

Soccer and Family Experiences

Murs is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a star of several Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a footballer.

"{I actually played in a benefit game the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!

"I continue to love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.

"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead."

Murs and his spouse his partner have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.

"I will not push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be managing their Saturday football side," he said.

"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a soccer team for a period too.

"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I inherited it. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Top Division Predictions

Saturday, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

The Blues might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their attack is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.

I still think this fixture will be quite tight, though. The Clarets are well organised and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.

It suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.

Sutton's forecast: 1-2

The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Cherries have lost their previous couple matches - although both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look competitive again.

The Hammers' only on the road victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when West Ham manager Nuno was previously that team's manager.

So, what exactly do I predict here - can the Hammers extending their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?

I am going to choose the Cherries, because I believe what happened against Villa was a anomaly.

Sutton's prediction: 2-0

The guest's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2

The algorithm's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have surprised a few people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their past four games.

A family member told me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.

Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.

The Bees have not had great fortune on the road this season, and the Seagulls are consistently strong at their stadium. The visitors will try to hit them on the break but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a threat.

The analyst's prediction: 2-1

The singer's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually turns out to be rather close. 1-1

AI's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.

Fulham have have plenty of quality in their team but it still feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.

As for the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight campaign so far.

The away side's performance in the 2-2 tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We've not witnessed any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.

The sensible thing would be to back the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the end of October.

However I am not do that. Rather, I truly need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive outcomes because they evidently enjoy to prove me wrong.

Considering Fulham's home record, the only team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's side will be absolutely eager for a positive result, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.

Sutton's prediction: 1-0

Olly's choice: I know Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but Fulham have still been decent at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

It is a hard one to call. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten matches in every tournament, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
