Salah Issues Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Mohamed Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the fallout from his recent interview.
What Happened
Salah was left out from a European match following criticising the club and stating his relationship with manager had soured.
âSalah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,â the midfielder said. âHe apologised to us and was like: âShould anyone feel slighted, I apologise.ââ
Arne Slot has chosen not to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. âHe was his usual self, he was smiling and it was business as usual,â he continued.
The midfielder also suggested that a player's desire to start is preferable. âIt's clear there are different methods you can go about things,â he said. âBut if a ladâs fine to just sit out, then I think thatâs concerning.â
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the games following the situation. The player is convinced the Salah's words were not intended to cause disruption.
âIf passion has boiled over, it has consistently come from a place of caring,â he finished. âIt's behind us and weâre uniting strongly, getting results and on a positive run.â
