The Congressional oversight panel has made public a set of approximately 70 images from the estate of deceased adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third release from a larger collection of over 95,000 images the committee has acquired from Epstein's property. It includes pictures of passages from the literary work Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured images of female overseas passports.

This action comes just hours before the 19 December due date for the DOJ to make public every records associated with its investigation into Epstein.

"These latest images pose further queries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its possession," stated the senior Democrat of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Images Released

A number of the photos released on recently depict Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates positioned next to a individual whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a workstation facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the most recent wealthy, influential men to be pictured in Epstein estate photos disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - formerly disclosed images also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Appearing in the images is does not constitute evidence of any wrongdoing, and many of the photographed individuals have stated they were in no way implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release accompanying the photograph disclosure, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate's representatives did not offer background information or timings for the pictures.

"Images were selected to furnish the public with openness into a illustrative selection of the images received from the estate, and to offer understanding into Epstein's circle and his profoundly alarming behavior," the announcement says.

The publication also features multiple photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in ink across several locations of a woman's body, such as her upper body, lower extremity, hip, and spine. Lolita narrates the tale of a young girl who was manipulated by a middle-aged literature professor.

One passage from the book scrawled across a woman's torso reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a collection of images of female identification and ID papers from countries around the world, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A further photograph disclosed is a screenshot of text messages from an unnamed person who says they have been provided "some girls" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Photograph Publication Occurs Prior to DOJ Due Date

The committee has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "at once explicit and everyday," its announcement on this week clarified.

The House Oversight Committee first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein estate's representatives gave to the committee are different than what is often called "Epstein-related records". Those are documents under the DOJ's control related to its own investigation into Epstein.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump enacted last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its records. The full nature of the contents included in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's probable that a significant portion of the information will be significantly redacted, akin to the committee's materials
